Resilience is a peer-support community located in Connecticut, USA that supports mental + emotional health by connecting individuals, who are committed to making a change in their life, to a community of peer support, education and experiences that utilize holistic and creative tools.
By accessing our community and events you will be given the space to become a more confident, empowered human being.
Our members are known as Rain Dwellers.
Rain Dwellers are those who have endured the storm in their mind and help others lost within its calamity find sanctuary.
Resilience Day is a big annual festival to celebrate art, community and mental health.
It will be held outside in the warm spring air on Sunday, May 22 at the beautiful Riverfront Park in Portland, CT during mental health awareness month. Our event is 10-6pm.
We will have live music, food trucks, artists, makers of handmade goods, spiritual goods, 1:1 healing sessions and group activities like yoga, breathwork, sound healing and a drum circle.
The initiative of the day is to create a fun, safe and compassionate environment for those interested in bettering their mental health, learning holistic tools, meeting practitioners, experiencing new ways to heal and grow as an individual, and finding a supportive community.
This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year, helping us to continue to do the work we do providing daily access to a supportive community, weekly virtual group check-ins, and monthly physical peer-support gatherings.
Please buy a ticket and join us for a day of fun in the park with a supportive community making a great impact on mental health.
All are welcome.
